On July 28, 2008 Brianna wrote a guest blog post on KristenMcLane.com about how she discovered running and how running helped boost her confidence and self-esteem.

Brianna and We Are Girls Who Love to Run are featured on Robert Key's Faithful Soles website. Brianna was honored to be highlighted as "Runner of the Week" and for Robert to share the book with his readers.

On May 8, 2008 Brianna wrote the guest blog post Finding Your Inner Athlete for the blog Go Workout Mom.

In support of the work done by Girls on the Run of Puget Sound, Brianna donated her time to help with their annual Ready, Set...GO GIRL! auction on May 8, 2008. She joined Sally Bergeson of Oiselle Running Apparel and Chill author Deborah Reber to share some insight into the power of running and the impact Girls on the Run has on young girls and the women in their lives. It was a night filled with frenzied bidding and shared smiles.

Young runners participating in the America's Kids Run in Spokane, WA on April 26th had the opportunity to visit with Brianna & Sheila during the packet pick-up Expo on the 25th. Smiles filled the Expo as kids anticipated their runs the next morning. Girls of all ages stopped by to meet Brianna and have her sign copies of We Are Girls Who Love to Run. They also shared their own stories of why they love to run and how they're working to meet their goals of running distances ranging from a half mile through walking the world-famous 9K Bloomsday race the following weekend. What an energy-filled weekend it was! Congrats to all of the runners and their proud families!

Runners of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon on Sunday, May 4th, who stopped by the Marathon & Beyond booth at the Expo on Friday or Saturday had a chance to meet Special Guest Dick Beardsley and buy great books like We Are Girls Who Love to Run and Kathrine Switzer's MARATHON Woman!
